Breitling Navitimer 01 46 Chronograph Wistwatch

We have for sale a simply stunning second hand men's Breitling chronograph wristwatch, from the Navitimer collection, model number AB0127211C1A1. This beautiful watch from the luxury Swiss watch brand is in superb condition with hardly any signs of being worn. The stainless steel case is in near perfect condition, with the curved sapphire crystal glass having no damage at all. The exhibition case back offers the opportunity to view the quality Swiss automatic movement.

The bi-directional slide rule bezel is super smoth in operation. We have purchased a new genuine blue leather strap from Breitling and added the original buckle, making this watch as good as new.

This watch was purchased new on 27/12/2018 so has the remainder of Breitlings 5 year warranty until 26/12/2023. It will also be covered by a 2 yar H&H warranty. It also comes with its original Breitling presentation case all booklets and warranty card.

In 1952, Willy Breitling developed a wrist-worn chronograph with a circular slide rule that would allow pilots to perform all necessary flight calculations. Two years later, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) announced the design as its official timepiece. The “navigation timer” – or Navitimer – was born. The AOPA was (and remains) the largest pilots’ club in the world, counting nearly every US aviator among its ranks. As the go too pilot’s watch throughout the glory days of civil aviation, the Navitimer was worn by airline captains and aircraft enthusiasts. It even made its way into space on the wrist of astronaut Scott Carpenter in 1962.
