The Rolex Day-Date is also known as the “President” and can be seen as Rolex’s flagship model, being worn by many current and former presidents as it is exclusive to precious metals hence the nickname stated above.
The model we present to you today is a Day-Date 40 which is the redesigned and fine-tuned model of the Day-Date 41 which was the previous version known to be too big and disproportionate.
This particular model has the highly sought after olive green dial that springs into life when hit by daylight and looks stunning next to the rose gold bracelet. The olive dial was released in 2016 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Day-Date model and is sure to be a collectible in the future.
Sold as a full and original set, this watch has both swing tags, box, papers, booklets, and some factory stickers still in place. The watch was originally sold by a UK authorised dealer and viewing is strongly recommended.
